Paper Engineered Flyer Design
The Brief
Caburn Hope, a marketing and communications agency based in Lewes (1995–2021), commissioned us to create an eye-catching, interactive flyer for one of their clients. The goal was to effectively communicate the advantages of a wireless hotspot service in a way that would immediately capture attention and leave a lasting impression. The challenge was to develop a tactile, engaging design that reinforced the core message of transitioning from wired to wireless connectivity.
The Outcome
We devised two distinct paper-engineered flyer concepts, each offering a unique approach to storytelling through print. One design was sleek and cost-effective, ensuring broad distribution without compromising impact, while the other was more intricate, using complex folds and die-cuts to enhance engagement. Both variations illustrated the same narrative—characters physically breaking free from their tangled wires and stepping into a new world of seamless, wireless internet freedom.
By incorporating movement and dimensionality, the designs transformed a standard promotional leaflet into an interactive, memorable piece of print communication, demonstrating the power of creative paper mechanics in marketing collateral.
