Georganics is an English manufacturer of natural and zero-waste oral care products. It started in South London in 2014, moving to the West Sussex countryside in 2016. Some of their best sellers include toothpaste, toothtablets, toothpowder, mouthwash, toothbrushes and dental floss. The company’s mission is to make natural, organic oral-care products that are good for you without negatively impacting the environment. Their core values can be summarised in 3 words: Natural, Sustainable and Conscientious. Toop Studio’s brief was to produce, direct and shoot a marketing video with animation to communicate the values of the company. Our approach was to use a split-screen device throughout to compare and contrast the source ingredients with the production process and final products in order to tell the story visually and efficiently. We also produced a selection of stop-motion animations. These animations helped communicate some of the more abstract concepts such as the idea of looking after the planet or the concept of ethical business practice. The video combines our filmed footage and animations with stock footage. We helped refine the script and then recorded the voice-over.
