The Design Brief
Toop Studio was commissioned to design toothpaste packaging across two new tube ranges: Fluoride and Fluoride Free. Each range includes multiple flavours, including a dedicated kids’ option. These tubes complement Georganics’ existing jar range, creating a cohesive, expanded portfolio.
The brief focused on refreshing the visual identity for the tubes. The client wanted a bolder colour palette and modern layouts while maintaining the brand’s premium organic feel. The tubes are made from aluminium, and fully recyclable, aligning with Georganics’ eco-friendly values.
Another key requirement was to clearly differentiate the Fluoride and Fluoride Free ranges in a retail environment. At the same time, the kids’ range needed its own identity to improve recognition and shelf appeal.
Design Outcomes
We developed two new tube ranges: Fluoride and Fluoride Free, each with three variants:
- Fluoride: Fresh Mint, Activated Charcoal, Strawberry (Kids)
- Fluoride Free: Fresh Mint, Fennel, Strawberry (Kids)
Each tube uses bold colour, clean layouts, and clear hierarchy to improve shelf impact. In addition, a 45º diagonal stripe on the Fluoride Free range signals the absence of fluoride at a glance. As a result, customers can quickly distinguish between the two lines.
To create a consistent retail system, we extended the tube designs across outer boxes. Meanwhile, the Geokids sub-brand introduces a Beaver character and logo, which carries through to products such as an electric toothbrush and a tube squeezer.
Alongside this, Toop Studio designed the original jar packaging several years ago, which remains part of the wider range. For this project, we introduced a new Strawberry jar label that bridges the old and new systems. This approach keeps the range cohesive while allowing the updated tubes to lead the visual direction.
