Viewbook – Identity and packaging design
Identity and packaging design for Viewbook, Seawhite branded display books.
The commission involved designing an identity for a range of black cover display books that contain polypropylene clear sleeves for displaying work. We went on to develop a name, logo and packaging design for the products which come in A4, A3 and A2 sizes.
For the packaging, we went for a colourful hand drawn solution, focusing on simple functional illustrations showing the benefits of the personalisation of the covers. The logo mark, based on the shape made by an open book, is echoed in the cover artwork of the products.
As has become customary with all our packaging design for Seawhite, we set the product information in the functional typeface Din.
The product can be ordered from Seawhite (for trade customers), from their factory shop in Partridge Green, or from some high-street retailers.
