Cookware Illustrations – Steamer Trading Cookshop
The Brief
Steamer Trading was a retail chain specialising in branded cookware, baking equipment and kitchen accessories. In 2014 they commissioned us to design a set of cookware illustrations for a variety of uses across the company.
The brief was to design and create a set of cookware illustration assets for use on store signage, point-of-sale displays, wall graphics, vehicle graphics and the company website.
Cookware Illustrations – The Project Outcome
Our designs were hand-painted graphics based on retro French cookery book graphic illustrations, but with a modern ‘screen-printed’ aesthetic. The colour palette was designed to compliment the ‘Farrow and Ball’ colour scheme used in-store.
Prints of our cookshop illustrations were installed in several of Steamer Trading’s largest stores across the South East including Brighton, Guildford and Bluewater. A large A-Z of Cookware display was created for their Bluewater store.
